Maine is my second home during the summer, so needless to say I was SO excited to photograph Jill and Ben’s wedding in Portland this past August at the Portland Company Complex. For starters, these two had impeccable taste. From the cozy furniture, to the string lights, to their choice of homestyle bbq-mexican infused catering… and let’s not forget that they played Jimmy Eat World at their reception? I felt so passionately from Jill and Ben that they wanted their guests to enjoy themselves just as much as they were on this special day.
Towards the end of the night, Jill changed into a bombshell embellished dress and we busted out some sparklers that I had in my trunk (don’t ask… you never know when you’re going to need sparklers). I can’t wait to follow along with Jill and Ben’s journey as I am positive they are going to be up to some awesome things in the future!
